In July of 2002 we started servicing our filters with South Florida Filter Service. We expected the increased AC performance as we dropped down our temperatures to desired levels but the most impressive result was the overall reduction in our FP&L bill by about 10% a month (measured in KW) which for us was a savings of approximately $3,600 for the year ( we are open 24 hours but the building is only 3000 sq. ft). In terms of AC maintenance our AC company found all relative parts to be very clean after each six-month check up and we could tell from the built-up on the filters themselves that no greasy residue, our biggest problem, could go through much less anything else but fresh air. We highly recommend this company for doing as they promised and for always arriving at a convenient slow time (given our 24-hour situation) to do the work. The quality of the materials is what has preserved our system so clean and well functioning. Other methods we tried in the past (eg. Doing it ourselves, hiring an AC company) was not eorking for us due to the erratic schedule, the quality of the filters used, etc. I prefer spending the money on filters than to have the AC company clean out inwards or worse yet having a compressor failure. Doesn't everybody?
